My hubby had back surgery last Oct. and again this past June. I am frazzled that he can't bend, lift anything over 5 lbs., or twist. He now drives and walks when it's important to him. That leaves me with doing almost everything. I have a torn rotator cuff on my left shoulder and torn tendons in my upper arm. The surgeon said they're not bad enough for surgery yet. How much more pain do I have to endure. I've already had the right one done. It's my turn again to do all the lifting. That's what put my right arm over the top in the first place, now the left arm. By using my right arm again, I can start feeling the pain. I surely don't want the screws dislodged, so I have to have surgery on it again. If the pain gets too much at night and I can't sleep because of shoulder and trapezius muscle and neck pain, I take 1/2 a pain pill and a muscle relaxer. It helps the pain but constipates. Can't win at this old age of 75.
For my gr granddaughter. I machine embroidered sunbonnet Sues for each month of the year and want to put them into a quilt for her. I also made a square of a cupcake with her birthdate and one of a stork with her weight, length, etc., to put on it. Now to get at it and get it done.
My new enlightenment for the week is to find out that the closed captions on TV are done with voice recognition software and I thought they have fast typists who made a lot of spelling phonetically errors. No wonder the software types only what it actually hears and cannot decipher an actual word.
Well, it's time for the Bachelorette for my husband. I'll have to see what's on the Guide for me to watch. Our temps here are approx 115 degrees, and I cannot stand to go outside.
Signing off for now.
